This article shows you how to create and embed a Text to Speech version of your blog post in Blogger using a javascript code snippet.

This is a manual workflow that looks something like this - every time you want to create an audio version of your article, you have to copy the code snippet from the Listen2It Dashboard  and embed it into your Blogger blog post.

Let’s look at this workflow in steps -

After you’ve successfully logged into the Listen2It Dashboard, head on over to the ‘Installation’ section and copy the code snippet for the player

Now head over to your blog post in Blogger and edit the post. Switch from compose view to HTML view  to insert the Listen2It snippet.  

Now paste the code snippet below your title after the closing </span> tag for the title. It doesn’t matter if you paste it at the beginning or at the end (this is where the inline audio player will be rendered) but make sure you don’t override any existing HTML.

Now update and publish.

The audio player should now be visible on your blog.

Audio will be automatically generated when the Play button is hit for the first time.

Note: Audio is only generated when play button has been hit at least once.
