This article shows you how to create and embed a Text to Speech version of your blog post in Ghost using a javascript code snippet.
This is a manual workflow that looks something like this - every time you want to create an audio version of your article, you have to copy the code snippet from the Listen2It Dashboard and embed it into your Ghost blog post.
Let’s look at this workflow in steps -
1. Copy the Listen2It Player code snippet
After you’ve successfully logged into the Listen2It Dashboard, head on over to the ‘Installation’ section and copy the code snippet for the player
2. Paste the snippet in your blog post in Ghost
Now head over to your blog post in Ghost and edit the post. Use the + icon to insert a new HTML element in the text (this is where the inline audio player will be rendered).
Now, paste the code snippet.
Now, update and publish
The audio player should now be visible in your blog post
Audio will be automatically generated when the Play button is hit for the first time.
Note: Audio is only generated when play button has been hit at least once.
